Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt announced on Wednesday he is running for U.S. Senate in 2022.

Schmitt is the latest Republican trying to take Roy Blunt’s Senate seat in 2022. Blunt announced this month he is not seeking re-election.
Former governor Eric Greitens announced this week he’s also running for Senate on the GOP side.
