Schmitt threatens more legal action against schools with mask rules

Missouri’s attorney general is once again trying to block school districts from requiring masks indoors.

Attorney General Eric Schmitt said Tuesday his office is finalizing lawsuits against school districts that still have mask requirements. Last month, Schmitt said a Cole County judge’s ruling nullified the ability by schools to enforce mask mandates for students.

Columbia Public Schools and Jefferson City Public Schools both implemented temporary mask orders this week.
