Schnucks reducing hours at Columbia/Jefferson City stores; plans October 7th career fair

Citing the challenging labor market and evolving customer shopping patterns, St. Louis-based Schnucks has announced that most of its Missouri stores will change daily hours to 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

That’s a change from the current 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. hours, and it impacts Columbia’s Schnucks on Forum and the Jefferson City store on Missouri Boulevard. The company cites “the challenging labor market as well as evolving customer shopping patterns.”

Schnucks also says all of its stores will be closed on Christmas and the following day, December 26.

Schnucks also plans to host a company-wide career fair at all of its Missouri stores next Thursday (October 7) afternoon, from 1-5 p.m.
