School bus crash closes state highway

There was a crash involving a school bus just east of Columbia.

Troopers say an SUV crossed the center line of Route Z near Judy School Road at about 3:50 p.m. Thursday and hit a bus going the other way.

SUV driver Carla Clark, 65, of Centralia went to the hospital with moderate injuries.

The Highway Patrol says the bus has a lot of damage, but no one inside it was hurt.
