School superintendent gets pay raise

Columbia Public Schools gave Superintendent Dr. Brian Yearwood a 5.5% pay increase for the upcoming school year, bringing his salary above $261,000. Yearwood’s contract runs through June of 2027. Teachers received an overall $7.35% increase to the salary schedule.
