A second woman has pleaded guilty in last year’s Columbia child kidnapping and deadly I-70 crash.
ABC 17 reports Mackenzie Quiovers pleaded guilty to child endangerment on Monday, and was sentenced to five years in prison.
Prosecutors say she was with Demetres Washington when three children were kidnapped from a home on Columbia’s Spiros Drive in March 2017. Their car crashed on the interstate near Rocheport. A 13-year-old girl would die from her injuries.
Washington pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter on Friday, and got a seven-year sentence.
