A Sedalia woman is seriously hurt in a one-car accident on Highway 5 in Cooper County.
The Highway Patrol says the car went off Highway 5 south of Route E at about 4 a.m. Sunday. It crashed into a tree.
Passenger Teresa Pearson-Daniels, 26, went to the hospital with serious injuries. Driver Deondre Pearson, a 23-year-old from St. Louis, is one of three people in the car with moderate injuries.
