Senator Razer to address removal of LGBTQ exhibit from Missouri Capitol

An openly gay Missouri state senator has called a news conference for late Wednesday morning in Jefferson City, to discuss the removal of the LGBTQ exhibit from the State Capitol.

State Sen. Greg Razer (D-Kansas City) will brief the Capitol Press Corps at the Lohman Building, a few blocks from the Capitol. That’s where the exhibit is housed now.

Senator Razer complains that the Lohman Building is only open for part of the day, and will close for the season in December.

He wants to see the exhibit returned to the Statehouse museum, which is on the Capitol’s first floor.
