Shooting and home invasion in Cole County; one arrested

A victim has non-life threatening injuries after a Cole County shooting.

The sheriff’s department says it responded to the shooting and a possible home invasion at about 6 a.m. Sunday on Deer Run Road south of Jefferson City near Brazito.

A man was arrested in connection with the shooting in Miller County. We do not know that person’s name yet.
