Charges have now been filed relating to a shooting in central Columbia.
Authorities are still trying to locate James Troy after the incident Wednesday on McBaine Avenue near Sexton Road.
Police say Troy pulled out a long gun and started shooting at a woman and her four children. The shots hit the home and few cars. No one was hurt.
Troy is a convicted felon so he’s not allowed to have a gun. He is facing four counts of first-degree assault or attempted assault, four counts of armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and illegally having a gun.
