Shots fired near Mizzou; one assaulted

Shots fired and an assault are reported near Mizzou.

Campus police sent out an alert at about 9 p.m. Monday about the shots near Fifth and Turner close to the U Centre apartment building.

Investigators later said someone was assaulted, but no one was shot. There are no announced arrests yet.
