Snow, cold in forecast for Mid-Mo

We’re under a winter storm watch from Saturday evening into Sunday evening.

ABC 17 Stormtrack Meteorologist Brigit Mahoney says to expect the snow to start late Saturday night or early Sunday, along with strong winds.

“The roadways could get a bit treacherous, as we are going to see well-below freezing temperatures, so it really won’t be an issue for the roadways to start accumulating that snowfall.”

Mahoney expects three inches of just snow, no ice, in the Columbia area, maybe four inches closer to Jefferson City.
