The National Weather Service says about 6.5 inches of snow fell in the Columbia area from the system that started to hit mid-Missouri on Thursday.
NWS meteorologist Fred Glass says the heavy snow should be done.

Authorities report several accidents, and a few injuries, but no deaths on local roads Thursday and Friday.
Temperatures should be warmer this weekend, according to forecasters.
