A familiar name in the Southern Boone R-1 school district in Ashland will be the assistant principal at Southern Boone middle school starting this fall.
Dr. Ashley Tanksley currently serves as assistant principal at Southern Boone elementary school.
Dr. Tanksley says while she’ll miss the elementary school community, she looks forward to supporting students as they grow academically and personally in their middle school years.
