Southwest Columbia drive-by suspect arrested

A man tied to some drive-by shootings in Columbia is now in jail.

Deputies arrested Sylvester Williams on Tuesday night on Rogers Street between Providence and College. He allegedly had drugs, a digital scale, and an illegal gun on him.

Prosecutors put out a warrant for Williams late last year in connection to some gun shots from a car in the Georgetown subdivision in southwest Columbia.
