Columbia’s Stadium Grill on Fellows has closed its doors, after more than 16 years in business.
A sign in front of the closed restaurant says an event center is coming this spring.
Stadium Grill received a lot of positive news coverage when it opened in 2009, and the restaurant was packed for several years. Businessmen Ron Coleman, Ted Geiger and Chris LaRocca launched the restaurant in 2009.
Some online reviews from customers suggest there has been a decline in the quality of the food recently. Stadium Grill appears to have closed just before Christmas. It is located next to Hampton Inn and is just down the street from Memorial Stadium and Faurot field.
