There will be no events in the arena at the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia this year, the fair announced Thursday. Rodeo, bull riding, demolition derby, motocross, tractor pull – all cancelled for 2024 while construction of a new indoor facility is completed. Construction of a new 140,000 square foot, enclosed arena will begin this summer and is expected to be completed sometime in 2026.
