State officials point to more reporting delays after latest coronavirus record

Missouri again saw its largest daily jump in coronavirus positives on record, which state officials say was due to another reporting delay.

Health officials say 160 of the 553 new cases reported Thursday were spotted as early as Sunday. Seven more Missourians have died from COVID-19, for a total of 982.

Boone County officials confirmed another 17 coronavirus positives Thursday, which is one away from the highest single-day increase. Cole County confirmed two more cases. Callaway reported one new positive.
