State Reps talk possible film tax credits

Have you ever watched the NetFlix crime series ‘Ozark’? The dark crime drama is supposedly set in Osage Beach.

But Representative Rocky Miller says the show is filmed in Georgia.

“We get a little bit of kickback from it, but it could be so much more if we were actually using our area and being able to really push the product.”

Missouri used to offer tax credits for film companies who produce films in the state, but those were eliminated in 2013.

A bill at the Capitol seeks to revive those breaks.
