Gov. Mike Parson announced Thursday more Missourians will be eligible to receive the coronavirus vaccine soon.
The governor says the state will activate Phase 1-B, Tier 3 of the state’s distribution plan on March 15. That tier includes teachers, child care providers, grocery store workers, food and agriculture employees and other critical infrastructure workers.
Today, we are announcing that Phase 1B – Tier 3 will be activated on Monday, March 15.

About 12% of Missouri’s population has received at least one dose of the vaccine, as of Thursday.
Callaway County reported four COVID-19 deaths on Thursday. That makes 44 total. There were just two new cases in Callaway on Thursday. Cole County added seven positives. Boone County reported 27 new positives. Active cases dropped to 146, and hospitalizations are down to 26.
