Several local colleges going online-only amid coronavirus concerns

More local schools are closing their lecture halls over concerns about the novel coronavirus.

Westminster College’s spring break starts Mar. 16. The school announced Friday it would go to online-only instruction until at least Mar. 28. Central Methodist announced it will go to online-only classes after spring break. Moberly Area Community College is switching to online-only classes until April 6, Stephens College is doing the same until April 10. William Woods and Columbia College are doing that the rest of the semester.

The University of Missouri System announced Friday it was going online only at all campuses the rest of the semester. Lincoln University extended its spring break until Mar. 20.
