Sunflowers blooming at Mizzou’s south farm in southeast Columbia

This summer’s ample rain has been helping the sunflowers bloom at the University of Missouri’s south farm, five miles south of Mizzou’s Columbia campus.

South Farm supports the research and teaching missions of animal science, plant science, veterinary science, biology and other disciplines. South Farm is home to the beef research and teaching farm as well as the swine research and teaching farm.
