Columbia police have made an arrest over that accidental shooting last month on Claudell Lane.
Antwane Grant, 24, is now facing an involuntary manslaughter charge after he was booked into jail on Wednesday.
Investigators said in December that 22-year-old Tavious Grant died in a hospital after he was shot. They say that the victim and the suspect were handling a gun while smoking marijuana and it went off.
