Suspect in CPS trespassing incidents sentenced to probation

The man involved in two different trespassing incidents at Columbia schools pleaded guilty Wednesday, and has been sentenced to two years of unsupervised probation.

Kelvin Joe, 53, went to Gentry Middle School in April and asked a student to take money from him. He turned himself in and was cited for trespassing and driving while revoked.

A week later he trespassed on West Middle School property, even though he was banned from CPS property, and arrested.

If Joe violates probation, he will have to spend 180 days in jail.
