The Weather Channel is reporting that four-million people are now without power, following Hurricane Helene. Columbia-based Boone Electric Cooperative is sending ten line workers and six trucks to assist an electric cooperative in Metter, Georgia.
Utility crews from Columbia-based Boone Electric Cooperative have worked around-the-clock to restore power to about 150 customers in the Columbia and Sturgeon areas. Boone Electric’s outage map currently shows just seven customers without power now.
