Task Force 1 in Kentucky

Eighty members of Missouri Task Force 1 and 100,000 pounds of equipment arrived in Hazard, Kentucky, Monday morning. There’re there to help with water rescue operations after a deadly winter storm knocked out power and caused severe flooding in the region. At least 10 people have died. Missouri Task Force 1 is part of the Boone County Fire Protection District and one of 28 Urban Search and Rescue Task Forced across the nation.
