Teenager arrested, accused of involvement in deadly February shooting

A teenager is the third suspect arrested in connection with a deadly February shooting.

The 16-year old suspect is in jail on suspicion of second degree murder and tampering with evidence.

Authorities already arrested and charged Justin Shelton and Gracie Avery for their involvement in the shooting. Joseph Taylor, 17, was shot and killed in a home on Doris Drive on February 5 after an apparent drug deal gone wrong.

Shelton faces a second degree murder count, to which he has pleaded not guilty. Avery pleaded guilty to a lesser charge and was released on bond last month.

We don’t know the new suspect’s name yet.
