Tergin pledges support to ABB workers during sale

Are workers’ jobs safe at Jefferson City’s ABB plant after the announced sale this month to a Japanese company?

Mayor Carrie Tergin says you probably know as much as she does.

“ABB has been such a strong and a great employer in our community for many years, and we definitely want to work with them during this transition,” Tergin says.

The last big job loss in Jefferson City was when printer RR Donnelley closed its local operation in 2013. That left 500 employees out of work.
