Third suspect charged in Business Loop shooting

A third suspect has been charged in connection with the Business Loop Shooting at the end of January.

The Daily Tribune reports that Boone County prosecutors charged Christopher Carter with assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.

Michael Whitley and Courtney Brown were previously charged in the shooting, where they were accused of putting several bullets into a car and then driving off.

Carter is currently in the Boone County Jail.
