Thousands set to be vaccinated Friday

It’s a busy day for vaccinators.

Mizzou’s Faurot Field and Arrowhead Stadium, the home of the Kansas City Chiefs, were both set to have thousands of visitors get shots there on Friday.

The Jefferson City school district is dismissing three hours early, so teachers can go to  a mass vaccination clinic at The Linc.

Boone County continued a lower coronavirus case trend on Friday. There were 18 new positives, and active cases fell slightly to 98. Hospitalizations went up by one, to 23, and are not straining resources.

Cole County had only four new cases. Callaway had 13 over the last three days, and active cases held steady at 55.
