Three arrests after gunshots near marijuana operation in Cole County

Investigators say some gunshots and drugs lead to arrests in west Jefferson City.

Cole County authorities say they found several shell casings at about 12:50 a.m. Tuesday on Westview Drive near Big Horn Drive and Old Lohman Road. That led deputies to allegedly spot about 50 marijuana plants, an illegal gun, and drug paraphernalia.

Deputies arrested three people, but we don’t know the suspects’ names yet.
