Three hospitalized after Moberly airport carbon monoxide scare

Three people need treatment for carbon monoxide exposure at Moberly’s Omar Bradley Airport.

Police say 29-year-old Arron Herring, 27-year-old Matthew Trani II and 25-year-old Wren Johannaber are all at University Hospital in Columbia after they had passed out in a hangar late Tuesday morning.

Herring is in critical condition, but the other two are stable.

A Moberly firefighter wound up needing treatment too for carbon monoxide exposure.

The case is currently under investigation, but officials believe it started with a faulty heater in a hangar.
