Mid-Missouri motorists and truckers will see traffic changes near the busy I-70 and Highway 54 interchange in Kingdom City starting Monday.
The state Department of Transportation (MoDOT) says westbound Highway 54 traffic will be moved onto the newly built bridge to the west of the existing structures and eastbound 54 will shift onto the current westbound lanes.
Crews are continuing to make major improvements to the I-70 and 54 interchange. MoDOT notes this work is part of the $405-million project to rebuild and expand I-70 between Columbia and Kingdom City.
