Truck driver assaulted in south Columbia

Columbia Police are looking for the men that beat up a trucker on the south side of town.

Investigators say the suspects knocked on the window of the victim’s parked tractor trailer at about 4:15 a.m. Sunday on Grindstone just west of Highway 63. They assaulted him with an unspecified weapon after he got out.

The victim has non-life threatening injuries. No arrests have been reported yet.
