Truck overturns on Highway 54

No injuries after a scary crash Monday afternoon on Highway 54 in Jefferson City.

A driver and his dog were unhurt after a tire blew out on a trailer, causing a boat, camper and truck to overturn.

Police said the driver was from Michigan and was on his way to Texas.

The truck was pulling a camper and a boat on a trailer near Highway 179 when the tire blew out.
