Zimmer’s Classic Rock 96.7 KCMQ holds its KCMQ True North Request-A-Thon today, with Brian Wear Plumbing. Zimmer corporate operations director Trevor Morgan says the station will play requests all day to raise money for True North of Columbia, to help them continue to support survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
True North of Columbia’s vision is to have a “community free from intimate partner violence, sexual violence, stalking and sex trafficking where healthy relationships thrive.” Trevor Morgan notes some of the song requests will be classic rock but many will not.
