Two Columbia women are badly hurt in an I-70 crash.
The Highway Patrol says their car stopped at the end of the eastbound on-ramp at the Midway exit of the interstate west of Columbia at about 1:00 a.m. Sunday. They then tried to turn around on the interstate, and a semi hit their car head-on.
Driver Sara McCahon, 27, and passenger Elizabeth McCarthy, 23, both have serious injuries. The semi driver was not hurt.
