Columbia Public Works says South Sixth street between East Stewart road and Elm is closed to through traffic, after the University of Missouri’s chilled water line break.

Columbia Public Works says the repairs are being made by Mizzou. The road is expected to be closed between two and seven days, and crews have started excavation work.

While sidewalks along South Sixth are still open, officials encourage pedestrians to use alternative routes when possible. Two Go COMO bus routes are being impacted. You can find details about those routes here.
