Two reports of Columbia gunshots on Thursday

Police worked two reports of shots fired in Columbia on Thursday night.

Investigators say someone shot up a home, a car, and some street signs in the middle of town on West Worley near Sanford Avenue at about 6 p.m. Witnesses say an SUV was chasing a small car. One person apparently involved, 41-year-old Brian McClaine, was arrested later on an outstanding warrant for driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Police say there were more gunshots on the south side of town on Telluride Lane off Rock Quarry Road near Grindstone at about 8 p.m. A home and a car took some damage.

No word anyone was hurt in either shots fired case.
