Two people have serious injuries after a crash at Stadium Blvd. and College Park Dr. in Columbia.
Police say Reid Browning, 22, was on Stadium and did not stop for a red light at 4:17 p.m. Wednesday. His Jeep hit the driver’s side of a car, knocking the car on its side.
The two Columbia natives in the car have serious injuries: 89-year-old driver Billy “Ray” Smith, and 87-year-old Ellen “Jane” Smith. Browning has minor injuries.
CPD says drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash, and the department is still investigating.
