Columbia police are investigating a couple cases of gunshots on Monday.
Investigators say a man was shot in the leg off Stadium Boulevard in the Shoppes at Stadium parking lot near Ash Street at 3:41 p.m. They say it was over a marijuana cartridge for a vaping unit, and the victim is not cooperating. He has non-life threatening injuries.
At about 5:52 p.m., several shots were fired on Typhoon Court off Derby Ridge on the north side of town. Police say children had just been playing outside, but no one was hurt. Officers found eight shell casings.
