Two shots fired calls hours apart in JC neighborhood

Jefferson City police are looking for the people behind several gunshots from cars.

Investigators found shell casings on East Ashley Street near Monroe at about 10 p.m. Wednesday. Witnesses say someone was shooting from a dark SUV.

At about midnight Thursday, investigators say someone in an older car shot up a car about a block away on East Dunklin Street.

No arrests in either case yet. No word of any injuries.
