Two north-central Missouri women are facing federal drug charges after apparently giving morphine that led to two people overdosing in Columbia.
Megan Lowe of Bevier and Kimberly Basler of Atlanta allegedly distributed the drugs in 2018.
One person overdosed and died in Columbia, while the other became seriously ill. The names of the Columbia victims haven’t been named.
Both Lowe and Basler are expected to make their initial court appearances Thursday.
