Blaine Luetkemeyer says the United States is winning trade wars all around the world.
The Republican congressman says the President’s use of tariffs on foreign cars is bringing major trading powers around.
“Other countries want to import their automobiles to our country and if we slap tariffs on those things, it really hurts their industries and as a result, they’re willing to come to the table and talk turkey,” said Luetkemeyer.
The congressman also says when other countries talk turkey, it means U.S. farm exports are always on the table.
He says farmers will benefit in the long run if Trump can keep up pressure for new trade deals.
