Primary elections usually see a low turnout, but one man is hoping for big numbers to overthrow a formidable opponent. John Webb is trying to push Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler out of her seat. He says he’s all about getting government down to size and back to its roots.
“…reduce the size and scope of government at every possible opportunity. And I believe that the first place to start that would be to take the U.S. Constitution, and apply it to the budget process,” says Webb.
He says he’s never held an elected office before, but thinks he has the business know-how to get the job done. The primary will be August 5th.
