UM curators raise tuition five percent

The University of Missouri board of curators approved a five percent tuition hike Wednesday afternoon.

It is the biggest bump in a couple years.

The latest budget at Mizzou does put more money toward scholarships. Departments at the university are facing about a five percent cut on average.
