The University of Missouri System on Friday canceled in-person classes for the rest of the spring semester due to concerns about the spread of the novel coronavirus.
The cancelations apply to Mizzou, UMKC, Missouri S&T, and UMSL.
There are no confirmed cases in the Mizzou community of COVID-19. A group of students was exposed to someone with the virus at a conference in New Orleans, but no one within the group had reported a positive test as of Friday evening.
