The UM System president is expecting more than 1,000 additional freshmen at Mizzou this fall, compared to August 2023. That’s an 18 percent increase from a year ago.
UM System president Dr. Mun Choi, who also serves as Mizzou’s chancellor, will join host Fred Parry in-studio for the hour Saturday morning at 7 on 939 the Eagle’s “CEO Roundtable.” President Choi credits affordability, excellent education and Mizzou football’s success for the freshmen enrollment increase.
President Choi will also update listeners tomorrow about the Mizzou Forward initiative, and will also discuss plans for an expanded research reactor at Discovery Ridge. President Choi will also discuss Mizzou football’s success, football coach Eliah Drinkwitz and Mizzou’s new athletic director Laird Veatch.
