University curators to consider combing president and chancellor roles

University of Missouri curators meet on Tuesday to decide whether to give Mun Choi some more work. They are voting on whether to have him be both the UM system president and Mizzou chancellor.

Choi has been interim chancellor for the Columbia campus since March, when Alexander Cartwright left for the University of Central Florida.

The Missourian reports faculty groups from the other three UM System campuses in St. Louis, Kansas City, and Rolla are concerned combining the roles would shift more power to Columbia.
