The Missouri Tiger football team has moved up to #20 in the new Associated Press (AP) college football poll, after Friday night’s 38-21 win over Kansas in Lawrence in the StorageMart Border Showdown.
Mizzou quarterback Austin Simmons was 19 of 29 for 292 yards and three touchdowns, while running back Jamal Roberts had 125 yards rushing and a score.
The rivalry dates to 1891 and this was the 122nd edition.
The Tigers are now 2-0 and host Troy Saturday evening at Faurot field in Columbia. Kickoff is set for 6 pm.
